CPR & First Aid Training

Our classes are both American Heart Association and American Safety & Health Institute courses. The cards you will receive upon completion of these classes are good for two years. We are aligned with CPR 4 Your Heart a Training Center based in Greensboro, NC and the ASHI National Training Center. We use a proportionate number of students to manikins and instructors to keep the length of the class short. Gwen worked in the American Heart Training Center office at WFBH for four years, and has been teaching on her own since 2006.

CPR & First Aid Course Description

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION CLASSES

AMERICAN SAFETY & HEALTH INSTITUTE CLASSES

BLS Provider CPR $70 per person
(also known as Healthcare Provider CPR)
2 Hours - eCards issued SAME DAY
Intended for those employed in healthcare industry. Includes CPR, Foreign Body Airway Obstruction and use of AED for Adult, Child and Infant.

Heartsaver CPR w/AED $70 per person
2 Hours - eCards issued in 2-3 business days
Intended for the lay-rescuer not employed in the healthcare industry. Includes CPR and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction for Adult, Child and Infant. Can be customized for Adults only or Child and Infant only.

First Aid $70 per person
(Fees are separate for CPR & First Aid)
2 1/2 Hours - eCards issued 2-3 business days
First Aid Basics - scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help, etc
Medical Emergencies - actions for choking, breathing problems, shock,etc
Injury Emergencies - actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns, etc
Environmental Emergencies - actions for bites, stings, temperature-related and poison emergencies

CPR & First Aid $120 per person
4 Hours - eCards issued 2-3 business days
Can include either the BLS Provider or Heartsaver CPR with the First Aid course

AMERICAN SAFETY & HEALTH INSTITUTE CLASSES

Basic CPR w/AED $50 per person
(NOT for people who work in the healthcare industry)
2 - 2 1/2 Hours - eCards issued in 2-3 business days
